A fine street shot -- great variety of expressions on soldiers' faces, with the woman beaming. I think it works really well.

Its nice to see a picture of soldiers smiling these days. Reminds us they are just ordinary people too. But these are Frenchmen, so they always have their special style!

Rafi--Thanks for the great story. My military experience was quite pedestrian. I am very happy you got through all that to be where and who you are today.
The fellows in the photo were a fascinating mixture of seriousness and joviality. They were obviously taken--at least for the moment--with the vivacious female tourists.
The crowd at the Eiffel Tower is always a lively and colorful combination of people from all over the world. To my way of thinking, a very nice place to visit . . .
Regards, --George

An excellent photo of soldiers on leave, your "Men At Arms", George. Their red berets probably signify that they are paratroopers. When what was called in the past Palestine was a British mandate, we used to call them anomenes. Later, after I had finished my medical studies I became one myself and jumped about 18 times, fortunately for me, never in combat, although on other occasions I was not spared the experience of being fired at. On one occasion I played hide and seek with an Egyptian fighter plane, showing myself above an air-raid shelter about two feet high and ducking as soon as I saw the smoke of his machine-guns. Then two of them ganged on me from two sides and I decided it was time to go underground. That was in 1956.
And now to something entirely different, as the saying goes.
Thank you for your kind, understanding remarks about my "Glass reflection".
Best regards,
Rafi
