About I used to see this man everyday in my travels, I'd stop and say hello, we pass the pleasantries of the day, on occasion I'd offer him some cash (which he never took) then we would both go on our sperate way.

On this day, he seemed to be in a world of his own, not recognizing anyone or anything except the unseen person he was conversing with.

I haven't seen him in seven weeks.

a profoundly sad, moving picture made even darker by your words. even so this is an image obviously taken by someone with a great empathy and decency. where it could have been exploitive i think you have managed to retain this man's dignity despite his obvious pain. my compliments on both counts.

i have just stumbled on your work and must say that it is impressive in the extreme. sad to say there is nothing after 2004. hope all is well in your world and perhaps some day you will grace us again with more of your fine imagery.

cheers

Russ

Wow. this is just a brilliant photograph paul. it brings tears.

in los angeles we have a spot downtown where at night the streets turn into people's homes. and when and if you walk down the street at 2 in the morning it feels like you are walking in the living rooms of everyone sleeping there.

with all the wealth this country has it is dispicable that people should be faced with this.

You'r really the ONE to see - things worth to see.

I've just been to New York (for the first time in my life) and I met a comrade of your friend. He was busy so I didn't disturb him

Wow.. strong reality of life. It hurts. The face is deeply torturated..:(. But that's life and It exists... Nice work.
