This Mosque was built at AD 1398 - AD 1411, It's Mamluk style, The general plan of the Mosque of Sultan Farag Ibn Barquq is a square with a court in its center surrounded by four aisles. The largest aisle is that of the prayer direction. Semispherical stone domes top the ceiling of the aisles. In the prayer direction arcade there are two square chambers used as tombs. Each chamber has a dome. One burial chamber contains the body of Sultan Al-Zaher Barquq and his son, Sultan Al-Nasir Farag Ibn Barquq. The other chamber contains the remains of three women of Al-Zaher Barquq's family. A dome precedes the mihrab, or niche indicating the direction of Mecca. The western facade is the principal one. It has two public fountains: one on the northern edge and the other on the southern edge. There are two primary schools on top of the fountains. A minaret is built beside the main entrance on the western facade. The mosque is distinguished by its use of shallow domes that are built with red bricks and supported by pointed arches.
