No apologies necessary Sue, I realize that everyone has sense of style that means something to them, but not to another. I cannot explain my own preference that caused me to take the photo in the first place; this is the wonderful thing about art in general, everyone has their own bent, sometimes this bent coinciding with many others to designate a classic piece, then, on the other hand, the only one who has any liking for it is the one who produced it. There is no sad story attached to this picture, but every time I went passed the place I always felt that there was a picture to take but somehow never got what I wanted because although feeling that there wa something there, it eluded me. Since I took the shot, i think that high winds have wrecked part of the structure, the end of the barn is shown in another image just previous to this one on Usefilm. Kindest, Alan M.
I guess I meant that it's sweet that you got the elements to come all together like this. Other than a slightly overbright sky (IMHO-a generally useless one), you have good exposure and fantastic texture.
If there's a sad story connected with this, or one that is disturbing, I apologize for the misapplication of the adjective.
