I've never seen a flower like that before. Very pretty and singular. Composition and angle are superb. The shallow background contrasts perfectly. I love it!!!! Emgy

Hi Lori... Unusual and beautiful flower... A well composed and lit image with good control over DOF... What needs to be sharp is sharp what doesn't isn't, which gives the image loads of depth... Well done... Regards KennyMc

Hi Lori, good tones and a very ordinate flower. The shallow DOF is a good choice, but it's arguably too shallow.
Can'b come as a surprise, I wouldn't have a clue about the name, so I'll just call it "pretty flower". Good shot, well composed!
Cheers,
Hugo

Hi Bill, Thanks, I would like to know it's name also! This was taken at the San Diego Zoo, which is known to have the largest collection of plants and shrubs of anywhere. There was not any sign with it's name. And it was very little. Glad you liked this one. Have a GR8 day!
Lori :)
