Very impressive bridge. This must be the most photographed bridge in the world.
The clouds enhance the beauty. Well done.

"The coldest winter I ever saw was the summer I spent in San Francisco." Mark Twain
Absolutely classic, composition-wise and color-wise.
I feel the gradation of light from foreground to background - especially the sun breaking through with highlights on the bridge and water - really gives it a 3-dimensional quality.
Absoutely perfect timing.
Regards, Bill
P.S. I think a professional colorist would be envious.

Hi Baki, Just now saw your crop of my bridge photo, I actually thought of doing that also! But I think I kind of like the darkness at the bottom better, maybe less of it, but more than on yours,.... Thanks so much for your input! Lori :)

Beautiful view Lori....Yes i can imagine it was very cold there, you are right up in the clouds. Ilove the way the curve of the land matches the curve of the cloud and the "opening is situated right over the pier of the bridge. Great composition. Thanks a million, for all your comments and encouragement and your "award". Mad me feel real proud. Now i have to ask Altaf if that also counts as an award :) Best wishes - Neil

Hi Lori, Fantasti shot. The ligting, a bit brighter in the distance is quite unusuall, but extremely effective in highlighting the SF city scape. Very good one... The clouds add a beautiful curtain between bridge and skyline. and the patches of sun on the bridge make the colours quite radiant, I like this shot. A pitty its so small, the details are numerous, but quite hard to fully appreciate at this size...
Cheers,
Hugo.
PS: thanks alot for your email! I scanned through it quickly before going to work, and I'll reply this evening.

Hey Lori, the rust colour of the bridge makes this one for me! Such contrast against the dark colours of the rest of the image. Loved the tiny, tiny little specks of the sailboats.
Great image - even the thumbprint stood out and screamed "open me, open me!" :-)
Well done Linn
