welcome to Usefilm,Jennifer :-)) your first picture here is super! i love how it is open to different interpretations...it implies a dramatic story, but this is probably because we are used to connect such images with morbid concepts...it can be just as well the hand of a girl lying on the grass of her garden dreaming of her boyfriend :-P supposing it is really an 'unhappy' photo you were after,i like how you've kept it natural looking (i consider paleness as natural),without treating it in an equally 'unhappy' way with software -like many of us do in order to boost the impact of an image. the composition is very effective btw,and the cropping of her fingers a nice touch in my opinion (intentional or not i don't care) ;-) anyway, keep shooting, and be happy! kostas

Absolutely beautiful! I'm wondering what has happened outside of the frame. The lighting on the hand is wonderful. I'd like to know a little more about how this was shot. Anyways, wonderful job!

Hi Jennifer! Very dramatic indeed!! While the paleness and softness of the hand's heighten the sense emergency in the composition, it just made me think what could have happpen to the subject.I like the way you crop the picture and how you position it (diagonally). Regaards, Zaki
