Thanks for the kind comment Cheryl. Ive always wanted to try macro photography but never did get around to it until now. I find that the non usm macro lens is pretty useless with auto focus but manual done its very good. I took around 25 macros today and only threw out 3 due to poor focusing. Not to bad at all :)

Howie, love the photo - good eye! I am horrible at macro and never can find subjects to "practice" on. I envy those who can - check out Stephen Bowden's work too. He is amazing with the macro's and especially the manual focus. Keep up the work. You certainly have something here!
