Hi Mike, I agree the crop on the bottom is a bit tighter than I would have liked but as you mentioned she was somewhat in motion and a moving model is not always the easiest thing to shoot. Still, the major elements were included.
FYI: I rarely crop my pics after the fact. I feel if I can't compose my pic properly at the outset then I should find another hobby.
By the way, I never noticed the pop can. You have a keen eyesight for details! ;-)

Where do you find your models?! They?re all beautiful! Another nice black and white shot. The deep dark shadows make this picture. The crop is tight. I don?t mind the crop at the top but the bottom of the picture could be longer, at least to get all of her hand in the frame. Hard to do with a moving model. Also there is a soda can in the lower right that could be removed.

Hi Brenda, I can't thank you enough for your comments on my work. It's always a joy to read feedback that is more substantive than "nice shot!". ;-)
When I was doing this shoot, things were happening pretty fast so I didn't really have a chance to compose like normal. This shot wasn't cropped--it is the full-frame as I shot it. When I saw it on my computer, I instantly liked it. For me, it's not always necessary to shoot the whole person so long as the main elements are there, and by chance they were here which made this a more powerful shot as far as I was concerned.
Coming to the Florida bit, I'm surprised you'd be asking me to send this model your way when it should be the other way around. Here in Toronto it's snowing right; I can imagine your beaches are still somewhat warm so you should already have way more models than you'd know what to do with. *smile*

I love the model and the look she has, however, now this is just me and note that I haven't ever shot models OK? I would have had to take a step backwards, to get all of her in the image, I don't think I would have cropped out any of her beautiful locks, I would love the opportunity to do this kind of photography, I think I might have had her crawling up the beach! ;) An excellent work and pose! Don't know where you are from, but you can send her to Florida! :)

This is a very seductive pose... very alluring! The one thing that would make this better, in my opinion, would be to use a reflector on frame right to lessen the shadows on her face. The pose is great, but I think that the real emotion is her face, and to have such heavy shadows there really disrupts the flow. The fact that there is a catchlight in her eyes works really well... gives them some added spark.

This is a sweeeeeet shot! Her pose, her expression, her little tip back of her head and her cute tummy are all portrayed very well by you. I can't beat this shot but if your model ever wants to come down to MN for a shoot, I'd love to work with her! :) I"m not real fond of the toning on this one, too red or something but that is very minor, it's just a fantastic shot! I shoot some models and shots like this are not easy to come by...very well done!
