Another interesting shot, I can see several different images in one. There is just so much to look at, and unless you stop and really analyze you can miss some of the things. Like the man walking away on the left hand side of the image. Unsure if I like the treatment. I think I would like to see next time a more simple image-more focused on one subject-one doesnt' neccessarily have to have a lot going on to get the point of an image across, and sometimes with a too cluttered image, the viewer may lose interest and not quite see what it is you were trying to say/show. Really I think that if you divided this image up into four parts, you'd have four seperate ideas. Anyhow, look forward to seeing more of these~

I would prefer to see the bakground image without the blur, as the tones are superb! I love the image floating across, so ghostly. :)

Hi Patrick,
sailing down the experimental sea? =)
It's a bit too special to catch the story directly.... it's not that I don't like the combination of two different photographs. but this goes near PS art, and therefore the rules get very subjective. there are some parts I don't find too much attractive like the differences in sharpness (the middle part with the windows and the upper area are VERY sharp) and the rather grainy look in the foreground. don't get me wrong on the direction of this comment. I really appreciate your creativity. and I would be the last one who won't appreciate PS works ;-) but in this case, I see a lot of technical "aspects" that I would do different and the power of the image itself looses some steam for me. maybe it's because I'm very much involved in PS at the moment. I hope you don't mind my honest comment.
take care my friend, Patrick

I like this one even better than the prev ious. The reason is the woman gliding over the image like a ghost and the feeling that the things in the far background is a nuclear power plant.
Ghosts and plutonim i reckon

Going experimental, heh? Hmmm. Just lemme get used to this....:) Somehow I cannot lose the feeling that the sole purpose of the effect / glass / reflection is to create an artistic element to this shot.
It could very well be my current shift to something less experimental (those things are always time bound) but I feel at least one, maybe two "experimental things" can be made redundant, without loosing the effect, appeal and atmosphere of this shot. The first, and for me obvious one, is the halo-ed effect around the industrial skyline. I also think that going a bit more easy on the contrast would create a stronger impact of this shot. Both statements are obviously subjective...:)
Cheers,
Hugo

The people even look like they are from another time and place. The merging of the images are the merging of two worlds. What they experienced in the past is not what they will experience in the future.
Well done my friend, and good to see you back on your bike again.
