Great colours, Jim, I'm glad you were able to get the scene while it was still intact! Wise words from Judi!

James, ignore them. You work to satisfy yourself and if that work pleases others, than great. Your work is individual therefore it won't make everyone happy. If you did do as others do, than you would be nothing but a sheep with no life and no personality.

Keep up your individualism.

Thanks for all the comments Maja, I appreciate them and it keeps me straight. This as with all of my morning shots are low light shots. They are not very bright to begin with. After reading your comments I went back to the original raw files and looked at them. I probably pulled out a little to much red but I think the brightness and contrast are OK. If you lower the brightness and increase the contrast you will end up blowing everything out of control. I like to use curves and only use levels to set my white and black points. Any comments on this comment would be appreciated and helpful.

Thanks

Jim

James,
One more beautiful scene,well composed.But..
In my opinion photo is too dark with strong colors.Did you try manipulate with levels in PS?
Colors are good, but photo is too dark.Maybe less contrast and more brightness.
Regards

Excellent James. The foreground works well, just enough interest. And the sun flare on the horizon looks great.
