Thanks for the kudos Chris. You're probably right about the timer. I brought the camera home a short time to learn how to use it so I could take it back to work to teach the others how. I don't know what your experience was with the camera but I took some excellant portraiture (Cap & Gown, Couples, Senior Year(High School), etc. Didn't care much for the time it took to record to disc.
Looks like a sucess. I used to have that same model, and i might be mistaken, but I think the longest exposure you can do is eight seconds, at f/8. Pretty limited, but I did get some decent night shots from it.
