No star filter used on this. Just from the long exposure of the lights.

Looks like you used a star filter on this one...good use of it. Nice shot, too. Okay, so it would seem you're familiar with Photoshop. Used the levels, eh? Yeah...though it gives you better control over the tonal range of a picture than plain ol' brightness and contrast, it's not NEARLY as powerful and precise as the CURVES tool. Try using it instead. It lets you adjust the tones of each individual color channel. You could've adjusted the contrast of JUST the blue channel, and left the house as yellow as it was originally. :) It takes some getting used to, but with the number of different tonal areas you're able to isolate and adjust combined with the different channels, you'll be absolutely AMAZED at the control you'll start to have over your pictures. Not even the best dark room printers can do what this beautiful program can. :)

This is cool Chris. Looks like lightning then maybe a deep red sunset shining on the house. Pretty neato. Did you also use a star filter? Very colorful. I love PhotoShop. I guess coz it cost so much and you can use your creative imagination to make some awesome pictures. All printable as well.... But to get the lightining itself was quite a trip in itself.
