this is fantastic, the pier just goes off into nothingness, what a great effect.

This is incredibly beautiful. What computer programs do you use to retouch your photos?

Great textures, cool after-effects. I think everything to be said has already been said, but just adding in another post of praise.

Chris,

Good job, guy! :) Though Maggie makes a good point about that one post, it's so small there at the end that it's certainly not something I'd notice without looking for it. *chuckle* But, on here, that's what we're supposed to do...look at every little detail, and we've just gotta nail ya for that. *wink* I like the composition here. And all the lines are nice and clean, thanks to a GREAT DOF. I likes it ("So I talk with a lisp. I don't get it...why all the fuss over a couple of extra 's's?"). Sorry...just a classic quote from Kids in the Hall I thought I'd throw in. :)

Very nice Chris...lots of texture in that old wood. I feel like I am right there walking out on this Pier.

Two little picky things I have on this one is....the last post on the right...it looks like it has been whited out..would like to see it more clearly defined....and if you ps'd this image...wish you had got rid of those little grey spots above that post.

Like I said...they are picky things...its a great shot...*smile* Maggie

GREAT JOB! I love the tones and colors that you have added to this photo with Adobe. Also love the DOF. Fine job all the way around.
