About
When the tide is out and the clouds hang low the landscape takes on an eerie look. It is fantastic to just hang out and take it all in. I hope that I am conveying the feel well enough for you the observer to get a sense of what it's like. The only thing missing is a scratch and sniff web site so you could smell the sea air.

The large rocks have such shapes [animal images] in them, as well as their wonderful textures and colours. The whole composition though does make me hold my breath to soak in that eerie feeling - just beautikful

It's such a great shot I can taste the salt air though Tim.

Yes that is the one thing I miss when I'm not around the ocean and the is the sea air smell. Excellent capture and composition.

It is a slightly eerie scene, Tim! I'm always amazed at the shapes the rocks are carved in from the effects of water. As usual, you've captured them extremely well, getting the colour and exposure exactly right.
Dave.

Strong.

Reminds me of Tom Lamb's compositions here on Usefilm.

Beautiful lighting and mood. Scratch and sniff would be lovely, but I think I can smell it anyway!

Sush a beautiful place. Many details, sharp and crisp. I assume that you used a long shutter speed for this. Nice colours and just great.
