About Going through some older slides and I came across some shots from Lighthouse that I was playing with still and moving water. This is a 20 sec exposure with the tide coming in, but the pool of water wasn't affected.
Polarising filter and ND grad filter used.

Beautiful colors and composition. I love that you have moving water beside very still, very blue water. Lovely, peaceful image. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop and comment on mine. You have a lovely portfolio!

Interesting result with the very still water in the little tidepool and the frothiness of the moving water! The colors are glorious (as they are in all of the ones you've taken like this!) and I love the strong foreground that gives the rocks their due 'weight'. The mountains in the background look a little soft - surprising at f/16 - but could easily be sharpened in PS...
Beautiful, beautiful photo!

I was thinking about more of a square crop as well... something to balance it out so there isn't so much black at the bottom. I wanted to see what others thought before I decided fully on what crop to take.
Thanks for the comment!

Nice contrast between the still surface and the time-integrated incoming tide. Fine, strong colors of course. The slanting clouds make it look a little tilted to me although I know it isn't. The composition with the pool in the foreground is very good - the only suggestion I can think of there is that a slightly higher framing might have been my choice.

Stillness in Blue, looks like beauty in blue to me.
Great job with the filters.

Lovely colour contrast of the cool bluish foreground water in the shade and the brilliant orange sunset. Great detail in the shade make this part interesting and lets it balance the picture. Very well done and and certainly shows it is worthwhile to dig in your old stuff> Best regards Jorg
