About This spot was about a 30 minute hike through the humid rainforest. There's a little swimming hole in front of the waterfall. Quite refreshing.

Who knew a little point and shoot could take such a nice pic. :-)

I just bought my first digital camera and I'm waiting with baited breathe for it to deliver. Pentax Optio 43WR.

I like the shutter speed here - the guys and the rocks are in focus and the waterfall is blurred enough to give a sense of power and speed. Very dynamic photo, Karen. Kurt

Hi Karen. Welcome to Usefilm and it's family. I wanted to thankyou so much for your wonderful comment on my work.

This image is wonderful. How I wish that I was under that water also.

Nice shot!

I really recognize this from my school survival through the pyreneen in spain. We had a 20 kgs bag with everything we needed(Tent, foods etc) and when we found a nice spot to sleep we made camp. Useually with a waterfall like that, and then it is really too refreshing:P!

best wishes Abel

Thank you! Glad you enjoy the photo.

I enjoy taking candid shots. Sometimes when I take them of my friends while on vacation or something they might look at me odd, because I'll take random shots of them, with a good backdrop or something, without them paying attention. Either that or they'll notice me getting ready to photograph them then they'll turn towards the camera and smile and I have to tell them to go back to what they were doing so I can take the photo.
