Wonderful. Beautiful image - the tones, crispness, and stunning little icicles running along the veins of the leaf.

Thank you Cheryl, I do believe The Prophet is my fav book of all time too. I went into Barnes & Noble once & asked where the Gibran books were, and the sales gal didn't know what or who I was talking about. I wondered how she got a job in a book store without knowing Gibran!!! Lol thanks for the comments. I'm away, so my photo post will be limited, as will my comments, but I'll try & make up for it when I get back. :) Dottie

We wanderers, ever seeking the lonier way, begin no day where we have ended another day; and no sunrise funds us where sunset has left us. The Prophet - My favorite book ever. I like the poetry/photo combined. The frost on the leaf is a great added bonus to remind us how hard/cold it can get. Great job Dorothy.

Dottie, I love this - the toning is spot on. I saw some leaves on the ground this morning all frosted up but the lighting wasn't right so I'll wait for another day. BTW you once asked me about your shot "Little Red Head", a bird in Hawaii. Well nothing to report other than we were watching a TV prog last night about Hammerhead Sharks shot in Hawaii where they are in abundance. Included was a shot of one of your birds and I thought of you. Den PS Hurry back, we'll miss you.
