This is G R E A T, James! I also like this version much better. The tight crop in version 1 looks strange, esp. at her knee.
Also: I would have cleaned the floor ;-) and would have photographed her from a lower position, so that the red painting would be parallel to the frame.

This one is way better than the other one.
The wall and the sofa plays a bigger part of the picture. The long legs fits nicely into the frame too.
