The tree indeed has a lot of charcter. Old and twisted it shows age. Well taken - very artistic

Don, I think you are right! And your title now makes sense (I love it!!!)

Now that you mention it, fig trees and banyan trees are from the same family. With banyan trees, once they've matured you cannot find the original trunk (it has likely died) and all you see are the branches of that original trunk which each form their own tree (and so on and so forth). Because they get so large and spread out, one tree can occupy a huge area after time, and again it's next to impossible to see the original tree once it's matured sufficiently.

Thanks for your feedback on my pics. I'll be sure to check back with you on your progress from time to time.

Pradeep

Wow Kel, I'm flattered!! It is a black and white, but I overlayed just a touch of color. You like??

Had a look at your gallery ... wow you are coming on leaps and bounds, well done, fame is around the corner.

Don, this is a remarkable looking tree you've got here. I can see why it's your favourite. It almost looks like many trees joined at the hip, so to speak. At first glance I thought it was a banyan tree, but then decided it wasn't. Do you have an idea of what kind of tree this is?

As far as the pic goes, you've done a good job composing it, and the lighting is just enough to provide for some level of detail (although I imagine this would be taken in a wooded area so lighting is hard to come by)

Great photo! Keep up the good work!

If you get a chance, please comment on my pics. ;-)
