Nigel, really a challenging and fantastic idea!
I tried to split the image into 4 originals... now I am asking myself: where? at what time? which season? how?

great shot. the tones are beautiful here and the shadows look excellent. the blurring of the top branches is a little offputting however, would be better if it was all in focus i think.
