You have very classy work in your portfolio, Stefan! I particularly like this one: lovely colours and D.O.F. to make the leaf stand out from the background. There's an out-of-focus leaf at the top which I find mildly distracting - perhaps worth editing out?

beautiful and effective use of DOF so as the shape of the leaves, their colors and textures come forward and fill the image with this sweet feel that only Autumn has... wonderfull work... emy :)

Like many good photographers, you direct our attention to the small and insignificant things we might otherwise overlook. If you don't mind a suggestion, I think the light areas both top and bottom might be cropped out to make the image even stronger.

Good colors and lights, nicely framed too, it expresses very well the sense of the fall. Bye Max

Hej Stefan!

Mycket fin höstbild med ett perfect kort skärpedjup. Fint motljus genom bladen, ger en bra färg till dem trots att de går mot det bruna hållet. Skulle kunna vara i Sverge lika gärna.

God Jul!

Nice backlighting - brings a little warmth and 'life' back to the shriveled leaves! I like how well the leaves are separated from the background by the short DOF. Not too sure about that little bright strip right along the top, though - maybe a little crop?

Stefan:

The caption says it all...Nice use of selective focus. Nature hands us wonderful opportunities huh Stefan? Simple, but nice.
