From my experience with 7day shop, make sure it says 'Stock Plenty'. I ordered the two lenses on Sunday and received them on the following Friday. One lens to get you started is definately the 50mm MK II 1.8 lens. Sharp as a tack, excellent colours and contrasts and all for around £65 Its Canons best bargain and for indoor low light photography where there isn't much room, it's hard to beat :)

Thankyou for that Howie - I was looking at them and Pixmania - need to save another £500 or so to get a couple of lenses also !
I had heard good things about them although delivery times could slip. It may be worth popping over to Jersey and seeing them in person - don't know if they do that though.

Hi Stephen
I wouldn't not condiser the 10D. It is an excellent camera. I upgraded for 2 main reasons only. Lower noise levels between iso 800-3200 and instant startup.
www.7dayshop have the 10D listed at £699 and the 20D listed at £959. Bear in mind these will be imports from america and wont have a UK warranty. However if anything should go wrong you send them back to 7dayshop and they sort it out for you. I bought two lenses from them. 17-40 F4 L and 70-200 F4 L. 17-40 is brilliant but had lots of issues with 70-200 F4 L. I sent it back one month after purchasing and it took 4 weeks but I had a full refund.
If you buy from them, check straight away everything works and they are a good cheap company to deal with.
Hope this helps
Howie

Lovely childrens portrait photograph Howie - I can see you are totally stuck between the 1N and the 20D :-)
Really looking forward to you trying out the macro lens in the New Year - I am going to pass on the 10D and continue saving for the 20D. At the rate I am saving now it could take me 10years lol
Best wishes, Steve

Howie, I like of tones, rock texture and image definition, but to me the sky and the right side are some overexposed. Hug
