I managed to avoid the worst of the christmas excess and got up about an hour before dawn this morning. I was staying at my Dad's place by the sea and was treated to a beautiful, clear, frosty morning. I found this little sailing boat drawn up in the creek and was quite taken by its name and the blue of its hull against the pre-dawn blue light on the frost that covered the sea grass and the boat itself. I chose the shortest DoF possible on my 12-24 lens and went for a panoramic shot to produce this blue scene.
Wonderful shot Barry. It looks mighty cold at this moment. Hope you were bundled up, with some hot cocoa waiting for you. Excellent shot and fabulous colors as well!!
