I took out that sword for fun...
I like this portrait a lot... the strait-on-ness and the centered-ness and the emptyness of the frame seem to fit the subject and the idea

Ugur, what a great shot! They look incredibly young and apprehensive. I hope it all works out for them... I agree about the sword - I'd probably clone out all of the distractions on the wall. But nevertheless, a moment in time that is rarely captured. Amy

This is great!!!!
Awesome expressions on both.
Looks like he is gonna grab the sword behind him and either kill her or cut his balls off...
Well, that's what I see... Every picture has a story to the viewer.
Cheers

This has the feel of a very old style wedding picture, the formal position and lack of contact. Very nice, great colors and composition. Alison Thank you for the comment on my picture.

great wedding image. I love their expressions and the mood it creates. They look very uncertain about getting married and is a good shot that you dont normally get to see.

she seems to be sad!! i would have loved to see more of the surroundings as it shows some tradition and culture. i don't think it's a good idea to have half of the sword in the pic almost sticking out of the guy's head!
well done for the lighting .. was it the available light or bounced flash?
regards, ned
