After two great weeks on the road it was finally time to go home. When we landed in Tokyo, the sun was on the right side of the plane making a pronounced shadow on the left. Looks like we are trying to land in this little parking lot.

As a part of a story this is probably a great photo, but in my opinion all by itself , as presented here, it is not so strong. First of all it really looks like a snap-shot, it is caused either by the camera movement or the focus itself, but the cars in the parking lot and the trees on the gound appear a bit soft. What I like about this shot, is the interplay between the shadow of the plane and the vehicles parked bellow. It remanis me of those transformations associated with every trip, when the airplane touches down on a new mysterious land.
