Very nice soft focus portrait. The light is very dramatic. Did not see the photo with the grain, but...would have agreed with Melanie, I think grain is inappropriate for children's photos.

This is a striking picture. The reds with some white and black all work so well. I lightened the face a little so you could see the detail a little better. Hope you don't mind. Don.

I so love the mood here. I think I prefer this one best. I do love grain but to me the other one just doesn't seem to work right on the mood here. awesome capture.
