Thanks Jonathan. I was reluctant to even post this pic and it seems to get more response from my friends and the nice people here than any of my photos. As a beginner, it is nice to hear what people like...especially if it doesn't immediately appeal to me (i can be hard on myself). Good luck on you pics and I hope you get some good pics of eagles at Roaring River. (I would've liked that to be a tighter shot, but it was already cropped and I didn't want to lose resolution. a tighter cropping would have made this shot even better.
a higher shutter speed would have reduced the camera shake.
