Just a little detail shot in Brunei - something at once both familiar yet exotic.
Another photographic excavation from a slide I took while on a business trip to Brunei in October 1978. For some reason, Brunei is not a selection under "country" below, so please ignore my close-but-not quite selection of Singapore.
Thanks for your kind comment! No, I didn't line these up in any special way - just shot it as is. I think the language on the bottle 2nd from right is Chinese, as Brunie has a Malay majority and a Chinese minority. It's a former British colony, so English is still widely used, otherwise, the official language of Brunei is Malay, using Latin characters.
