Fantastic angle and composition Michael, with amazing Tones. I think both this and Peter's are amazing each in own way!

Peter:

Your shot at http://www.usefilm.com/image/671444.html

Beats this image with a hefty stick. Yours has more detail, interest, and just was taken under better circumstances.

Super man .. really adore shots like these ..
Contrasts and textures render this kind of captures into real artworks of nature !
The trail breaks the pattern, but if i like it is another thing ... it does bring some variety, but not a very nice one as it breaks the rhytmic pattern of the waves ..

Ooh, now that's your winner. Maybe the shot of the trip, unless I missed another jewel somehwere. Nice!

Hi Michael, Here's an exemplary shot, with a very good tonal range, and a very strong primary subject. I like the variation in the contrast; with the same mid tone grey as predominant tone and brighter highlights in the trail of the critter, and darker shades as shadows in the sand. Obviously a natural phenonemon, but very effectively enhanced. Great shot....

Cheers,

Hugo
