Nice light shadow study. I like the angle of this shot. The foot prints are a good lead into the background. That does look cold!

The darkness of the treeline and the annonymous footprints leading off into it give this a nice sense of mystery. I love the bright reflection off the pond, and the tree shadows in it!

It's really crazy, we haven't gotten any rain just steady snow, I have shoveled 3 times already and this morning a good 3 inches more so far. Alison

To the pond he went, indeed. Then the foot steps simply disappear! Hope the pond didn't swallow him alive.

Alison,
Please read my comments to you "touch of color" image.

I would appreciate if you would drop me line by email "kentheteaman@hotmail.com".

regards,
ken

Not your best capture, but I like the idea. Tough exposure shot but you got it the best you could.

Nice angle down close to the ground. I like the bright sun too, and it's reflection. You do this backlighting stuff really well.

Beautiful image, full of mystery and wonder. The shadows add that feeling of suspense, yet the soft white snow makes it less of a fear, more of anticipation. Very nice.

Is this a shot from the series X-files :)
Nice perspective and wonderful sunlight comming from the top behind the trees with some trees shadows on the ground.
Regards dear Alison,
Khaled.

I like this shot Alison. The overexposed sun area creates a small hole in your shot as it blends into the white background but I love the shadowing and the angled path of the prints.

Nice capture, Alison! There's a sort of mystery when you see unknown footprints like these.
Thanks for your recent comments! As usual, I'm way behind again!
Dave.
