About Palm trees were introduced to Baja Mexico by the missionaries. Now they stand as a gateway to a canyon water hole - an oasis in the desert.

Photo tweaked out using quick mask and levels in PS, along with some saturation alterations.

very nice image, I am firm believer mother nature puts out the best shows. You capture it very well. I like the "verticality" of the picture. Nice job! Regards, Rafael

Yeah, I have one too, it's amazing except for the small viewfinder. I had the 18-70 but sold it for the 17-55 and a 24-85 in that same range.

Taran:

Good camera. This shot is more due to the lens, a nice 28 mm that comes as a kit.

Good perspective, you are a master of the D70.

I have PS 7, so I get to do all of it by hand (sigh).

I have some limited success in using the magic wand selection on dark shadows, then select simular, then feather selection.

Sometimes I will mask by hand if I feel anal or really like the photograph.

Very good backlight shot, a beautiful scenery. Did you work it out with the shadow/highlight adjust tool ?
