This is the best picture of a humming bird in flight that I've ever seen. I'm surprised it didn't win anything. It's a winner in my books. Excellent color too, very interesting. We don't see them that color in this neck of the woods. Thanks for sharing. Georgeous.

without a doubt a superb shot...the body detail is crisp and exposure is excellent...composition is good bringing the bird and flower right up front...excellent framing...I have nothing to nit pick about this one...

Splendid picture Bill! Excellent composition, details and colours! To me, its a dream to click a humming bird, and I am so delighted to see this good work of yours! The only small improvement I can think of is to reduce the space below by 1/2 inch, and would've been great to have little more room on the top!

Don't know what you expected Bill, but I love it, the richness of the colours in the bird are lovely. I really like the way the leaves around the bird and the flower head are so sharp and detailed, and everything else fades gently into the background. Excellent composition

wonderful shot Bill, the color and detail are amazing, the stop action on the HB is great. this is top photo material, I take mostly larger birds but do have a couple of HB's not close to this impressive, another bird on my list of "must catch in flight" shots....
