I'm told all girls are princesses. So, once again, here is the young Rajasthani Princess after a slight transformation (hair, Rajasthani outfit, still no makeup).
FYI: I'm shooting this on top of the roof of her modest home. This little village is rather unique in that it is entirely surrounded by mountains. These mountains act as a natural barrier to any invaders. Rajasthan literally means "Land of Kings". And, Rajghar means "House of King". Even more striking, the king had built forts along the mountain perimeter; as there is no king or military presense there today, one can walk through the amazing fort system without impediment.
I did not use a diffuser at the time. However, I added in a touch of softening after the fact to enhance the many mirrors on her outfit and make them shimmer somewhat.
