Eh Evelyn, weather conditions where I leave are something more like 9 months of autumn and 3 months of summer (if not less).
There's almost non-stop cloudy and rainy, and for photos like this I was supposed to climb on the mountains.
I was doing some racketing (walking on the rackets) there and I was dead tired at the end of the day cos we was passing about 15km (~10 miles) like this, on foot.

Looks like a COLD day to be out! Beautiful and great choice for B&W -- Three is the magic number! We can't get pictures like this in Texas -- but then -- Spring is beginning already with flowers and leaves so there is some small compensation.

Beautiful snowscape, that is the one thing I miss about snow, the great pictures it helps to create, was in Strasbourg in 1997 visiting the area my grandfather(Metz) was born stayed in the city from viewing your photos I see I should of visit the country side too. Thank you for saring
