John -- You are all about what is beyond the obvious and I am mostly experimenting simply with technique at the moment. Totally different approaches but I like to see what you are doing and I am glad something here is worth your while -- by the way -- I just added a pic of the INSIDE of my fridge -- just for a smile -- it is in the comments section of the outside fridge pic you first noticed. Thanks for checking in and I'm glad you are thinking about what to post next. :)

Evelyn, i'm so glad you checked in .. and yes you are so right .. i have quite a lot of new images .. but sometime i need to just take them in and see what they are or see what they mean .. also, i always wished to say that this image of yours has a feeling to it .. a warn internal feeling .. and something past the subject is what reaches me .. i see things in your work just peeking through that are interesting to my eye .. you seem to have something that connects with my vision internally - you seem to understand my work so well too .. i enjoy it all - i thank you for your communications ....

Actually, Cheryl -- this was done before I downloaded the actions and I couldn't tell you now all I did to achieve this result -- but I want to take a moment here to give credit to my husband, Brad, for taking the shot initially and generously giving me permission to play with it.

The swan was actually on its nest . . . but the detail was poor. I thought it was rather romantic and wished I was a poet but settled for what I could find on the internet . . . it suited my purpose nicely, in fact.

Ev, I can't decide if the trees are growing in water, or the swan is swimming on grass. Either way, this creation is a mythic, mystical view. The light is just wonderful. Amy
