About Its called Insomnia this thing that has had me up since 3am. ever wake up and your mind is flooded with all the things you have to do at work? Happened last night. So, If they give you lemons, make lemonade !
So I was out the door and at one of my favorite coffee shops ( see photo below) by the time it opened. about 45 minutes later I rested the D70 on the door frame of my van, shut off the engine to reduce vibration and grabbed this shot. It is from Canal Park Parking lot. you can see the outer light in the center of the photo and the other house on the opposite side of the canal showing its green light.
On the right side of the image is "Crabby Bills" a walk up food place. On the left is the wheel house from the George Hindman an old Ore boat, now a gift shop.
Tonight I sleep !

I think moct folks on UF have insomnia. I know we are all in different time zones, but sheesh, I wake up (when I can manage to sleep) and I have 50 new posts to comment on from my friends & assoc. Well, at least during your insomniac spell you got a graet pic! Dottie

wow, what an intense sky. It paid off this morning but you will be in bed early tonight. Nice shot Jim. Very good exposure on the coffee house picture. Don.

Chris
Did you notice the shot was made with the "N" camera ? Its a great unit and great to use. BTW the shutter is 1/2 as noisy as the 20D. unless the 20D is mounted on the big lens. things I like about both both you know how it goes

Yes Margaret It is aweful. Its just before lunch and I can scarcely see or stay awake. I have a presentation to do in 3 hours , haven't started , just trying to stay awake.
But at least I am alive. ( so to speak);-)
