In fact some years ago I had been seeing to the deer if it was a great male with great horn through the telescopic aim of my rifle cal. 308, but no longer more, never more I will kill an any animal to feel me the strong man. In fact I have notice that the man without guns in their hands it is physically the more weak of the animals, it is for that reason that has a lot but merit "to hunt" photographically, I no longer have more hunt weapons neither physique to arrive up to where the deer are, because here to be able to see one you have to go into in very dense forests of vegetation and walking at least 10 hours it costs up. congratulations for your excellent one "Trophy" and God bless you: D

Great shot James... I have a similar one of a stag I need to do a little work on (he has 'green eye' - like red eye but deer refect flash green not red).... I know how hard it canbe to photograph these shy creatures. so you have done an incredibly good job here! Well done - lovely details, contrast and colours!
