Great detail in the spider and the PS edits really enhance the atmosphere here. Only negative is the bright panel in the background, I think it tends to pull my eye away a little from the subject.

Just one of those shots when you get lucky with a fairly big macro subject. If you look at one of my previous posts I caught this same guy in a slow shutter speed but he moved one leg;) You take what you can get and once in awhile you get lucky. I got lucky on this one.

Spider got some presence! Great angle, and I really like the noise and these tones and lighting. Those eyes sure add to impact. You must have had a lucky break for him to be still for 3 seconds. one of my favorite spider shots.
