About This little guy sits here and guards the feeder. Whenever another male hummer goes near the feeder he takes off and runs the other one off. He will allow his mate to go and feed. It is really neat to watch.

Lens flare added foe effect.

Thanks Richard, yes they have been here for a week or so. We are quite a bit warmer over here in the eastern part ov VA then you are. They should be your way shortly. Good luck in your endeavor. My goal this year is to catch two of them together when they are chasing each other from the feeder.

How do you do it? Awsome shot!! Do you have Hummers there already? I've had feeders out for two weeks and have'nt seen one yet. One goal this year is to get at least one GOOD shot of a Hummer. Be better if I cuold get an awsome one like you. Keep up the good work.
