About	the herring were running here earlier this week - which brings in an incredible abundance of sea life which feed on the herring & roe. I wish i could have had a sound track for these image! I know the calandar says we're still in winter, but here, when the herring run starts, it is the beginning of spring & we can just feel the whole world bursting to life around us. It is absolutely one of the most glorious times of the year to be here - so rich & full of promise & new life. Did i say amazing??? :O)
