Nice one Glenn! Despite, or perhaps because of living so close to this mountain and seeing it everyday (when not obscured by clouds),I am still awed by its splendor. Great capture.

WOW!
I saw a similar(?) phenomenon in Maine in 2003, above the islands surrounding Acadia. But it was summer (July), and the temperature was much higher than it was on top of Mt Rainier when you took this photo...
