Thanks Larry - yes there is a sense of Emptyness. There was a Book by Neville Shute aclled "On The Beach" About post nuclear war. Without the boats as you suggest it could almost suggest the aftermath of a tragedy where the people have just been "disappeared" as they once said in Argentina - Scary thought though.

hmmm... pretty interesting. Very nice composition. I can actually feel the heat of the sand and sun in this beach! Also, there is a sense of emptiness here, a sense of being left alone with no people seen around. Wonderful.
Maybe, to add more sense of emptiness here, I would erase those three white boats somewhere on the background. :)
