About This is really the first time I have messed around with the DOF on one of my sunrises. (I usually shoot at infinity) This is the identical shot as my previous post but at the other end of the focal length (140 mm.) Using the big lens on the sun and focusing on the trees in the foreground throws the sun into a mysterious, moody almost eerie look. Along with the fact that it is 2 stops underexposed. I will have to remember this when I have the opportunity to get a shot with a little more exciting of a foreground for a silhouette. I had intended to be up among the scenic overlooks for my sunrise but skyline drive was closed due to ice and snow. Two hours of sleep a 3 1/2-hour drive and the gates are lockedL

Focal Length 140 mm.
EF 2X Extender

Enjoy.

I apologize for lack of comments. I have had a virus and barely have the energy to upload a pic let alone think well enough to comment well on all my friends? wonderful photo?s. I should be back to normal in a day or so.
