thanks Margaret, that is a sweet idea. Just a few days ago I found the footprint we did of our daughter when she was only 2 days old. Even she was surprised to see the difference (she is only 2 years now).

thanks Lynne, Aaron was awake but he was completely focused on his toys so he kept steady for some time. I have yet to get any good shots of their hands. They just never keep them anywhere for longer than 0.2 seconds :)

How nice it is to play, I had my grandaughter one day when she was nott well, I had just got my new macro lens as well, she fell asleep and I took the opportunity to play around with both cameras, as as getting a nice shot of her cuddling a toy [which I uploaded] I wondered if you would like to see the result of my playing, not a usefilm thing - but special to me and her parents

David, very well done. Your DOF makes that little foot a work of art!! And these are the perfect tones for this shot! If anything, I wish it was a little less "centered"...but an awesome shot, none-the-less!! Would look great poster sized!!

I just love little children's feet and toes. Great depth of field and I can tell this child must have been asleep. When else are those feet so still!

I really enjoy this picture! Great DOF as well as the coloring effect...it works well. It is funny how some of the simplest things make the greatest picture! Well Done!

Hi David,
I like the shallow DOF and the perspective, the sepia tones works well too.

Great use of DOF here David, if you look at my recent posts you can see that I am a fan of hands and toe shots too. The sepia look gives it a really nice finish.
