very nice cityscape. the only complaint i have is that branch sticking up out on the bottom left side. probably not much you could do there other than move to one side or the other. anywya, i'm a nitpicker for that kind of thing. your exposure overall looks fine. well done here ~ james

this is a great shot... perfect balance in lighting.. love taking night photos of skylines... since I don't use photoshop to heavily I have not tried this suggestion but someone told me to take multiple shots of the same image with different exposures... they then can be combined together. this way you would not overexpose one part of an image in favor of another. sounds like cheating to me haha.. but want to try it someday..congrats on the awards

How in the world I missed this is beyond me! Wonderful shot here Steve. This is gorgeous. The suprise mountain in the background is excellent in it's subtlety - since it makes itself known in it's own time. The eye is led from the space needle over to the mountian with this crop. Splendid.

I think that this is a really good night shot. Night shots are always difficult to get just the way you want them. Great work!

Isn't it mpressive just to be able to see mt ranier at all in this view? :)
I love this view of Seattle - it really blows you away when you actually visit this fine city (which I loved more than any other west coast city by the way) - how far the needle actually is away from the other buildings (see the - admittedly bad pic below if anyone is interested)
I could be wrong - but has the bg been enhanced seperately to the fg? the edge of the buidlings looks a little *too* sharp against the bg.
in any case - this is an awesome view - you don;t even notice the mountain against the lights at first - and when you do it brings a whole new element to the composition.
Like it :)
