Thanks Peter! That is exactly what I told my aunt. She is a biologist and takes a lot of macro photos. She is currently using a G5 but is thinking about switching to 350D. In my opinion G5 is far superior camera for macro photography. BTW, here is a 100% crop if anyone is interested.

Another exellent macro Domjan.In my opinion these small canon camera's are even better for macro work than a 8mgpixel dslr. They are light,easy to use, and they do no have the disadvantage of shutter movement. I have both a 20D and a G5. With the 20D i always have to use a heavy tripod to get sharp macro's......the G5 takes very good macro's handheld.Another disadvantage with a dslr you have to look trough the vieuwfinder.....not an easy thing when you want to take photo's of insects between plants and grass.
