Hey, apology accepted! Kind of difficult to determine a child's gender through the bars of a "cage"!..;)

"If I could get past these bars...the things I could do!",I imagine him thinking. And I'm sure that was the thinking to have the bars there. Great capture and toning.

Angela, I have two answers for you. The short answer is that I converted it to a duotone in Photoshop (after first converting it to grayscale) using some light orange color (you get to select from a long list of colors in Photoshop when you convert to a duotone). The longer answer is that I then go into this seemingly endless series of "tweaks" in which I adjust darkness, contrast, and colors using almost anything I can get my hands on in PS: curves, color balance, selective color adjustments, levels, saturation and hue adjustments, and sometimes the "apply image" function. I recently got a book out of the library about using Photoshop that I was hoping would make this process a little more systematic and efficient. We'll see if it works..! Regards..:)

Just beautiful. And the sepia is perfect. Would you mind sharing how you got to that shade/tone? Angela
