Thanks Peter - I will try that with this very photo and see what I can do. Really, really appreciate your advice and that I have received from others on this site. It is so special that everyone seems to be more that willing to share their knowledge. Almost feels like you belong to a large, spread all over the world, family. Priceless!

Another Wonderful Photograph Janice. Great colors, clarity and Composition. 7x7 Not that it needs it. Try using your "curves" (ctrl M ? PS) function taking the bottom of the diagonal line down and to the right a little and you can darken the background and not the foreground. This is just a suggestion.

Thanks Christine - the bees are all over those flowers and the lantana, but they move so fast it is difficult getting a good shot. There must be different species too, as this one does not have the same coloring as the one in another photo.

Thanks Rob. I'm still working on trying to get a good shot of our beautiful hybiscus (the tree is loaded and has gotton so big it covers part of the front door). Those reds are something else, and we haven't had an overcast day. Tried taking a few shots when it was almost dark but that didn't do much to tone down the neon glow. Tried using a smaller appurature - and that didn't help. I get a good shot one day.
