Thank you very much Hugo for the feedback and for the suggestions. Actually I have another shot where the road is in the center and vanishes in the middle at the top of the picture. I just though this view is a little bit more interesting. I'd definitely try to follow your suggestion and allign the corners. Regards, Iltcho

One more thing that crossed my mind. I wonder if you'd let the left side of the road coincide with the lower left corner, creating a very geometrical composition, would create an even more powerful impact....

Awesome shot, Iltcho. The extremely strong perspective as well as the colourdepth and tones is awesome. Very well captured, and quite an impressive scenery. I like the off-centered vanishing point, yet using the middle of the road as point of view. Unusual solution, as most people (myself included) would either use the side of the road as POF, letting the vanishing point coincide with the (vertical) center line or compose the road diagonally across the frame. This is a very good solution. Very well done!
